Damask Rose Festival in Kerman

Lalehzar City in Iran’s Kerman Province has hosted the 15th edition of Damask Rose Festival.

The festival is held annually during the harvest season of damask roses in Kerman, with the aim of promoting the economic capacities of the region and its tourist potential.

Lalehzar is famous for its high quality damask roses.

Over a dozen of other provinces in Iran host ceremonies for making rose water each year. They take place between April and the end of June, depending on the weather.
